Peter Platzer is former Austrian keeper. He was actually a very good keeper but was always second choice in NT behind legendary Rudi Hiden. Platzer was reliable keeper with good reflexes and jumping abilities, he also knew to save some penalties. After the departure of Rudi Hiden to France in 1933 he was master of the national team goalie and stand well in all games of the soccer World Cup in 1934 in the gate, where the Austrian team made it to the semifinals.
