INFO:

Oldřich Nejedlý was a Czechoslovakian footballer, he was an all time leading top scorer in history of Sparta Prague. Nejedlý was known for his powerful and precise shot, and scored from tight angles and long distance. He had wonderful ball control and also had accurate passing, very agile with fantastic technique. An incredible finisher, the striker was above all considered a great technician with a remarkable vision of the game. Player with excellent positioning and instinct for goal, he avoided physical contact because he was very prone to injuries. Good shooter, technically gifted and endurable, intelligent and accurrate passer of the ball, very energetic and penetrative, excellent scorer and one of the best strikers in the world at the time. Among the strengths of Oldřich Nejedlý was especially his wonderful shooting, he knew how to supply the opponent's goal with accurate and hard shots, largely thanks to countless training sessions with Braine. He was also able to pass accurately and invent something that the opponent did not expect. He was in great physical condition, he made an inexhaustible impression on the field, he was everywhere on time, and defending was not the slightest problem for him. Other typical characteristics were football intelligence, decency and modesty. He never promoted himself above the other players, which is why he was very popular in the team. They say, that he was a few decades ahead of his time with his concept of the game. He was able not only to end the actions, but also to start them from deep in the field. He could play on the left, on the right, in the center of attack, nothing was a problem for him. He had all the makings of a quality striker. He knew how to control the ball perfectly, played with balance in the deep field. He could deliver an accurate and clever cross pass. His shots were hard, but also technical. With his presence, his teammates in the attack literally grew in class. He played 44 times and scored 29 goals for Czechoslovakian national team. He participated at 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cup and became top scorer at 1934 FIFA World Cup.
