Fritz was actually centre forward but was used mainly as inside right. Very gifted technically and strong physically, great teamworker, formed excellent partnership with Matthias Sindelar. He was good in heading and had good shot, shielded the ball perfectly. He was a false No.9, equally skillful as offensive creative playmaker but also as scorer, player with great vision and various repertoire of solutions.
