INFOS:

Ted Drake is the fifth Arsenal top scorer of all time. If war didn't cut his career short, he maybe could have been the top. He was extremely strong, fast striker, who had good shots with both feet and good header - a typical English forward. He wasn't really a technically gifted player but, when a goal was needed, Ted was there to step up and score. He also was good playing with his back to the goal, when receiving a ball and playing a return ball for inside forwards. He was a courageous player, really brave, he always gave 100% on the pitch, and his hunger for goals was incredible. He still holds the record in English league for the most goals scored in one match - he netted 7 against Aston Villa in 1935. His bravery often led to injuries, in 1938 in a match against Brentford, he broke two bones in his wrist, received nine stitches to a head wound and was carried off the pitch twice - the second time unconscious. Ted played for England in 5 games scoring 6 times.
