INFO:Bolek Tempowski, born Tomporski Bolesław (Dąbrowa Górnicza, 31 May 1921 – Nîmes, 5 December 2008), was a French footballer who played as a striker. He played as inside forward, sounded technically with good pace. Bolek was penetrative and direct, although not too tall, he also possessed good shot and scoring instinct. Born in Poland and arriving in northern France in 1927, Bolek Tempowski began his professional football career in 1938 at Valenciennes, where he played alongside striker René Bihel. He then enjoyed a brilliant career with the great post-war Lille team . He was French Champion in 1946 and participated in three of Lille's victorious Coupe de France finals in 1946, 1947, and 1948. In between, he was an international player.May 3, 1947 during a friendly match against England. But a broken leg jeopardized the end of his career. He moved to Strasbourg in 1951, then Montpellier in 1952, without ever regaining his post-war form. He finished his career at Stade Guyotville in Algeria. Later, Bolek Tempowki coached the Iris Club team in Lambersart in the 1960s, RC Lons-le-Saunier (Honneur Franche-Comté) from 1969 to 1971, US Tavaux-Damparis (Division 3) in 1971-1972. He then joined the coaching staff of US Valenciennes-Anzin (Division 1) from 1979 to 1983.
