Orvar Bergmark (16 November 1930 – 10 May 2004), born in Bureå south of Skellefteå, was a Swedish football defender and manager, as well as bandy player. Orvar's back play was described as "modern", he had a running strength that gave him opportunities to act over large areas, he had a placement ability that made him always stand in the right place and he had an ability to stretch to the limit. When the opponent thought he was over, the ball was poked away by the world-famous big toe. He played 147 matches for Örebro SK, and 17 for AIK, Solna, in the Swedish national league Allsvenskan, and also played for A.S. Roma. He was part of the national team that lost the final in the 1958 FIFA World Cup, where he was awarded as the best right back of the tournament. He was also awarded the Swedish national prize Guldbollen that year. He was the national team manager from 1966 to 1970. Bergmark began playing football at Byske IF. At 17 years old when he moved in 1947 with his family in Örebro, so he joined the junior section of Örebro SK. In 1948 he made 26 goals in 16 games with attention. So he made his debut in 1949 as a 19-year-old for the team in a game against IFK Göteborg in the Allsvenskan - the last game of changing to Italy Gunnar Gren in Swedish football. At the end of the playing time he got off with the club, but managed to return with the team directly in the Swedish Elite Series.
