Born 24 December 1922 in Dubrovnik, died 26/07/1985 in Dubrovnik. More than a decade he played for Hajduk Split and was a member of those memorable immediate defense Beara, Kokeza, Broketa, always emphasizing the exemplary fighting and sacrifice, tenacity, strong shooting and versatility.

Started playing as a teenager in Dubrovnik GOŠK, continued at the Zagreb Uskok and June 1945. He joined Hajduk Split, where he played in all places in team, even as a goalkeeper! However, the best party provided as left back.

For the "masters of the sea," he played until 1956. total of 493 games and scored 70 goals. Three times has won the title in Yugoslavia (1950, 1952. and 1955.). In the spring of the 1950. against Crvena Zvezda (2-1) in Split, scored the winning goal for Hajduk Split who brought the first post-war championship title. After leaving Hajduk played it for a while in the Netherlands Ajax in the Amsterdam.

Returns to the country and plays for Lokomotiv Zagreb, then returned to his Dubrovnik where he first was a player and then coach GOŠK, the then coach of Dubrovnik and the Slavs from the breast.

With four meetings of State "B" team (1949-1951), played three matches for the national team of Yugoslavia: the first 11th May 1947. against Czechoslovakia (1:3) in Prague as the Left Wing, 27th last June 1948th against Albania (0:0) in Belgrade, the left back spot. After a long illness died on 26 jula 1985. Dubrovnik in his home and was buried in the cemetery Boninovo Dubrovnik.
