Born 4th November 1942. in Zagreb.

Rudi Belin belongs among the best players who have worn the jersey of Dinamo Zagreb. Played-back hemisphere, most pronounced with central back offensive role. As an excellent technician and a very decent fighter, especially active while performing outstanding free-kicks.

The Dynamo came 1959th from the lower class of Zagreb Unity, and the standard became regular in 1961. and until 1969. played 410 matches and scored 83 goals. Won the Cup in 1963, 1965. and 1969. , and 1967th played in the team that won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. He played several seasons for the Belgian team from Beerschot Antwerp and career finished 1974th year.

He played for all the national teams of Yugoslavia: four times (two goals) for youth (1960-1961), three times for a young (1962-1963), also three times for the 'B' team (1950-1955) and 29 times for Yugoslav national team, for whom he scored six goals. He made his debut on October 27, 1963rd against Romania (1-2) in Bucharest, and the last match played on 19 October 1969. against Belgium (4-0) in Skopje, where has provided the best game in the national jersey.

After his career he devoted himself to coaching, twice led the Dynamo (1977. and 1983), and was coach of Iraq (2002).
