INFO:Maddè is a former central or defensive midfielder, capable of playing as sweeper and occasionally winger or centre-forward. He spent the majority of his career at Hellas Verona, where he played from 1967 to 1970 and from 1973 to 1978, making 249 appearances and scoring 19 goals. He also played for Alessandria, Milan, Torino, Mantova, Cesena and Nocerina. He retired in 1981.
A versatile midfielder, Maddè was stylish, unselfish and technically gifted. He possessed good passing range, solid pace and great tactical awareness. He was a fine scorer, especially from set piece, and his shots usually were more accurate and well placed rather than powerful. He was a threat during counterattacks and effective when passing the ball short, also first time, or when delivering a cross after a run down the flank. He was also Hellas Verona main corner taker in the late 1960s. Less capable in the defence, especially when challenged one-on-one, he was still decent given that he was mainly an offensive player. He showed great condition in his first spell with Hellas Verona, missing only one league game in three years.
