And I mean this literally, AEK's stadium has a pillar in each corner honouring a legend, and these are the 4 that were chosen. He's maybe the club's most legendary captain and because of his loyalty and passion for the club, he's considered by some to be the player that most represents AEK. He was a goalkeeper known for his flying saves and cat-like reflexes and agility, compensating for his small build. But he was most known for his competitiveness and fighting spirit. He fought with determination in every game, even to the point of aggression. He was once sent off for kicking Olympiacos striker Giorgos Sideris, and in another incident he even punched his own teammate who swore at him after Serafidis was ordering his defenders around. With his only club he won 3 league titles and served AEK for 70 years in several different roles. Despite being probably one of the best Greek goalkeepers ever he was limited to only 1 appearance for the national team due to the presence of Savvas Theodoridis and Takis Ikonomopoulos.
