INFOS:

Ian Bowyer is legendary Nottingham Forest player who is ranked second in All-time most appearances table and seventh in All-time top scorers table at the club. He played for Forest in two separate periods, the first one being much more successful. He was part of the team that won Second Division title, and than in next few years won English League title, and two European Cups. He played mostly as central midfielder, but Clough used him also as side midfielder, or when in need, as a fullback. He possessed decent technical skills, was good with the ball in his feet, but had troubles trapping the ball. He covered a lot of ground, always participating in offensive and defensive tasks. One of his specialties was attacking movement, when he saw an opportunity, he would run without the ball between defenders in open space and getting in scoring chance. he scored almost one hundred goals for Forest, but most of them were scored in second division. He also won Cup Winners Cup with Manchester City. He was tough in physical duels. He often positioned at the edge of penalty area and waited for the return pass so he can shoot from distance. Despite being a good player, he was never capped for English NT.
