INFO:
Bigon is a former attacking midfielder or secondary striker, capable of playing as centre forward. His career started at Padova in 1964. He left the team after three years and played for Spal and Foggia. In 1971 he transferred to Milan, where he had his best time, making 218 appearancces and scoring 56 goals in nine seasons, winning a Cup Winners' Cup, three Coppa Italia and a Scudetto. He retired in 1984 after experiences at Lazio and Vicenza. He never capped for Italy despite his undeniable class and good performances.
One of the most feared strikers at the time, Bigon was gifted with excellent control of the ball, very good dribbling, quickness of execution and a remarkable speed on progression with or without the ball. His playstyle was focused mainly on sprints and sudden turns. Initially deployed at Milan as main forward, he didn't acted too much in-box striker. Therefore, he was turned into an offensive midfielder who scored and created scoring chances. He was a fine passer and when he had the ball, he usually preferred to distribute it. Once a teammate had the ball, he often rushed towards the goal to take advantage of his very good heading ability.
