Attack MindedINFO:Leighton James was a Welsh winger, most famous for his years at Burnley and Swansea and also as a crucial part of the Welsh national team in the 1970s. James was a very talented winger, exceptionally fast and skillful. He was a nightmare to defend against, because of his skill with both feet he could beat the opponents on the inside or the outside on either wing, although he preferred to cut inside. And he was also a good passer and crosser, he could create plenty of chances for his teammates. He wasn't the most clinical finisher but he scored a few spectacular goals and was a good penalty taker. If it wasn't for some consistency issues and instability with his clubs he could have been a bigger legend. James was a fan favourite everywhere he went, but he's mostly known as a Burnley legend (making almost 400 appearances in 3 spells) and as a major part of the first Swansea team to reach the top division. With Wales he won 54 caps and was one of the best players of the strong Welsh generation that almost qualified to Euro 1976. He scored the winning penalty to give Wales their only victory over England at Wembley.
