Saud Abu Haidar was an Al-Nassr legend of the late 60s and early 70s. He was a centre back known for his clean defending and was a key member of a solid backline that saw Al-Nassr rise from a second division club into one of the dominant forces in Saudi Arabia. Saud was instantly recognisable with his white hair that was the result of accidental exposure to x-rays as a child. He was praised for his moral strength, technical ability, leadership and physical fitness although he was quite small and weak.
