INFOS:

Kenny Burns is former Scottish international who is mostly known for his successful period in Nottingham Forest where he formed a formidable defensive duo with Larry Lloyd. He arrived at Nottingham as striker, but Brian Clough converted him back to central defender and the rest is history. He was awarded with Forest player of the year award twice in five years. He was good at defensive positioning, but his greatest asset were his quick reactions an high jump. He was fast for a defender, which came useful in correcting his own mistakes on the pitch. He liked to join the attack and also sent passes from deep. His passes possessed good speed, but weren't that precise. He didn't hesitate to use his weaker foot, but it wasn't as good as the stronger one. He wasn't so good with the ball in his feet, and his first touch was pretty bad. One could expect a simple clearance from him, and he would just miss the ball and create an opportunity for opposition. He was often booked, as he hit opponents without any reason. His tough tackling earned him crowd favorite status but also helped him to get a lot of unnecessary bookings - from time to time he while guarding the attacker, he just headbutted him. He won seven trophies with Forest, most notably two consecutive European Cups in 1979 and 1980. He was capped for Scottish NT on 20 occasions.

He scored most of his goals at Birmingham City in his early career when he was often deployed as centre forward from 1974 to 1977. Then he scored even more in his later years at Ilkeston Town in English lower leagues. So yeah, 69 is more than enough for his Nottingham Forest set.
You may have taken one minute for researching and reading that on Wikipedia before posting such comment.

Era is pointed out in the title. You have articles on the web where you can check his stats during that era. Also, you have a lot of available games from that era, where you can see his overall attacking contribution.

Suggestions for his Birmingham years (1974-1977)

This guy is freaking hard to rate haha. He did play a centre forward role, however it was mainly in 74/75 and 76/77. He was occasionally a striker in 73/74 (when he won Birmingham player of the year award), but in 74' he was mainly #6 (half back DMF/CMF) and #7. In 75/76 Burns was a ball playing CB with his occasional runs towards the penalty area.

As a striker, he was fascinating. Didn't think a lot before shooting or keep the ball too much, he would shoot instantly, with both feet almost equally. Great movement off the ball and anticipation/positioning, very opportunistic striker. He even took long and side free kicks with both feet, again, equally. His shots were probably more powerful than technical; however I was impressed by the accuracy (of course his main weapon was still Header shots). Good on the ball, would distribute the ball from a solid back play, not too agile in his movements.

73/74: 46/12 goals - (MID, ATT & DEF) Birmingham City Player Of The Year
74/75: 52/13 goals
75/76: 40/5 goals (played DEF)
76/77: 39/20 goals - best year in terms of scoring

Regarding his defending skills, I didn't think he was that good in this period. Lots of missed tackles, slip ups, mistakes from the back. Very aggressive, brutal (as this was what he was most known for), but the cost was that players would turn him easily sometimes. He didn't really excel, of course, probably if there was more full footage, I might stand corrected in this area..

The only thing i am not 100% sure how to rate is his aggression. Since his main position in this era is CF, i would give him a higher one

P.S. in one of the "Focus on" extracts from 74', he's listed as 5'10'' and 12 stone,4 lb (78 kg)
