INFO:
Piraccini was a midfielder who spent most of his career at Cesena − where he's considered one of the club's greatest legends and captains − playing 427 matches and scoring 17 goals in two spells, the first from 1978 and 1984, the second from 1988 to 1996 when he retired. He also played for Bari between 1984 and 1986 and Inter between 1986 and 1988. At Inter, despite having missed many games, he was a key player, challenging legends like Diego Maradona and Michel Platini. Even though he showed a high consistency and great performances, he was sold after the arrival of Enzo Scifo. His main positions were defensive and right side midfielder but he covered other roles throughout his career: right winger, central midfielder and attacking midfielder.
Piraccini was a short but tough player. Gifted with an uncommon dynamism, he was tireless and unselfish, running and running for the whole length of the match, never giving up. He moved through the center of the field or up and the flank depending on the position he was playing in. He didn't have an excellent technique but he still had good feet and a powerful kick either with the right or left foot that made him score some remarkable goals, showing also good cordination.
