INFO:

Jim Leighton was one of the best Scottish goalkeepers ever. He was a consistent and reliable part of Ferguson's great Aberdeen team of the 80's, demonstrating mental toughness and excellent shot stopping abilities. Unfortunately he wasn't always great when handling crosses. Instantly recognisable for the Vaseline he smeared on his brow before every game, he followed Ferguson down to Manchester United, where he became very erratic, notably committing an error in the 1990 FA Cup final. He lost his position as Scotland number 1 to Andy Goram during this period.

Returning to Scotland after his disastrous period in Manchester, Leighton regained his place in the Scotland team with impressive performances for Hibs. At the age of 40 he became the oldest player to ever play for Scotland, a record he held until 2010; he was also the oldest player in Scottish Premier League history until his record was broken in 2007. Finally retiring aged 42 in 2000, Leighton is only behind Kenny Dalglish with the 2nd most appearances for the Scottish national team with 91.

Update: Shot Power from 84 to 87, his punts were often very deep, reaching the strikers almost at the edge of the opposition box.

GKS from 83 to 85, I think I underrated this because of his shaky period at Manchester United, during this period he was very secure, still not perfect but definitely not an erratic goalkeeper.
