Veselin Đurasović spent his whole career with Velež. He played as a center back or sweeper and was uncompromising fighter whose only task was defending his goal. He almost never joined attack, rarely on corners. His task was to take the ball, on allowed or disallowed way and pass it to the closest teammate. He was aware of his lack of technical skills. Although not too physically imposing player, he was tough in duels and didn't give up until he stop the opponent.
