INFO:

Stefan Schwarz is former Swedish player. Versatile footballer who played in midfield and defence, in Fiorentina mainly central midfield and left midfield, meanwhile in NT and Benfica he was also left back. Tireless worker with powerful shot and good set piece taker, decent strength and passing range. Schwarz began as a 5-year-old to play soccer, and came after many years of experience as a young kicker with Malmo FF Kulladals Association in 1983 as a 13-year-old in the youth squad of Malmo FF. From 1985 to 1987 he belonged to a young player to German club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, with whom he won the A-League Championship 1985/86. Then he went to Malmo FF. Under the guidance of coach Roy Hodgson it developed in the Allsvenskan alongside players such as Jonas Thern, Roger Ljung and Martin Dahlin to support the club and later won the Swedish championship team in 1988 and one year of the Superettan. He subsequently became a national player and came in a 2-1 win over the national team of the United Arab Emirates on 14 February 1990 his debut when he was in the 82nd Minute for Pontus Kåmark came on and shortly after the winning goal with his team decided the game in favor. Subsequently he was at the World Cup finals in 1990 Swedish contingent. He came in all three games for use with the national selection and separated after three defeats in the group stage after Brazil, Costa Rica and Scotland. Following the tournament announced the German champions Bayern Munich are interested in a commitment, but ultimately saw on it, not because Schwarz wanted to renounce his Swedish citizenship in favor of a German passport. After the tournament Stefan moved to Portugal from his compatriot Sven-Goran Eriksson trained traditional club Benfica. At the end of his first season in Southern Europe with the club he won the Portuguese championship. In addition, he was still in the country's choice and took her part in the European Championship finals in 1992 in his home country. As a regular player, he played all three matches in the group stage, but missed the semifinal against the German national team, after he had seen in the final group match against England his second yellow card and was locked. In the season after the tournament he won the Portuguese Cup with another title in 1994 before once again the national champion title was won. During the World Cup finals in 1994 could convince Schwarz again. As a regular player, he moved in with the national selection to the quarterfinals against the Romanian national team, but was in the 101st Minute of the match with a yellow-red card sent off. Thus he was not the team in the semifinals, which was lost to Brazil to help and came in a 4-0 victory over Bulgaria in the "small final" in his sixth game tournament. Stefan decided to end the tournament to move to the Premier League. New employer was the Arsenal, which is approximately 1.8 million pounds for the defender pointed to Portugal. He stayed only one season in England and then moved on to Fiorentina. With the club he won the 1996 Italian Cup and after a 2-1 win against champions Inter Milan by two goals from Gabriel Batistuta, the Super Coppa Italiana. 1998 Stefan moved to the Primera Liga for Valencia before he returned to England after one season. In 1999 he was awarded the Guldbollen as Sweden's Footballer of the Year. By 2003, he played for Sunderland AFC on the island, then to end his playing career. Since the end of his career as player switched Stefan Schwarz Pro Sports Sweden AB in Malmö. Stefan now lives with his Portuguese wife and three children in Cascais, near Lisbon.
