Roger Ljung is former Swedish player. He was very useful defender and midfielder who could be used on many positions. In NT he was mostly left back, in clubs he played also as sweeper meanwhile in Admira he was playmaker in defensive midfield. Ljung began at the age of six years playing football at Lunds BK, since the nearest club had no GIF Nike youth team in the appropriate age. On the side of the later national team member Leif Engqvist he missed the club at the end of the second league season in 1984 as the thirteenth in the league table.
