Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Defence Minded

Pancaro was a side-back, capable to play on both flanks. He had his best time at Lazio, where he played 220 matches and scored 7 goals from 1997 to 2003, winning the 1999-00 Serie A. He played also for Cagliari, Milan, Fiorentina and Torino, where he retired in 2007. He gained 19 caps for Italy.
Pancaro was a strong defender, careful, accurate and reactive. In defence he was good at covering the space due to his size and positioning but he could also attack with efficiency thanks to stamina and good speed considering his size. He also had tactical intelligence, could deliver fast passes and especially his crosses could create scoring chances. Moreover, he was dangerous inside the opposing box thanks to very good leap and header ability. , cross and through pass goal with a header

No WB?
Remenber Italy played also with a 3-4-3/3-5-2 at the time of his uneventful stint with the NT, don't see him genuinely playing as CB with Nesta, Cannavaro, Iuliano, Maldini, Materazzi all playing as CB/SWP during his time as Azzurro.
