StandardCARDS:SPECIAL ABILITIES:Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Defence MindedINFO:Ilias Atmatsidis is a former Greek goalkeeper, considered one of the best in AEK's history and regular starter for Greece in the second half of the 90s. He was a very solid keeper with strong reflexes and positioning. He was good at intercepting crosses thanks to his good aerial ability and strong hands, which also made him very good at blocking powerful shots, especially from close range. He was overall a reliable player with few errors and a high level of concentration. His only problems were poor kicking, lack of strength in physical challenges and occasional problems with handling. He was the first winner of the Goalkeeper of the Year in Greece, winning in 97/98 and 98/99. With AEK he won 2 Greek championships, 4 Greek cups and twice reached the quarter final of the Cup Winners Cup. With Greece he won 47 caps and played in one game at the 1994 World Cup.
