Mousa Al-Tamari is considered the most prominent Jordanian player and the first Jordanian to play professionally in major European leagues. He currently shines as a right winger with French club Stade Rennais after a distinguished career that began with Al-Shabab Al-Ordon and continued through Cyprus and Belgium. He is known as the "Jordanian Messi" for his magical left foot and exceptional dribbling and penetrating runs from deep positions. Al-Tamari is characterized by his explosive speed, which has made him one of the fastest players in the French league, giving him a significant advantage in counter-attacks and creating scoring opportunities. Internationally, he led the Jordanian national team to a historic achievement by reaching the final of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and continued his impressive performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, securing Jordan's first-ever qualification for the tournament.
