INFO:Ghulam Khamis Al-Ghamari is regarded as one of the greatest football players in the history of the Sultanate of Oman, and was nicknamed “the Maradona of Oman” due to his exceptional technical skill. Throughout his career, he played exclusively for Al-Ahli Omani Club between 1976 and 1988, winning the Omani League and several Sultan Qaboos Cup titles with the club. He represented the Oman national team from 1978 to 1988 and participated in five Gulf Cup tournaments. He reached the peak of his career when he was named Best Player of the 1984 Gulf Cup, thanks to his decisive performances. He passed away on 17 November 2008 during a medical treatment trip, leaving behind an enduring legacy in Omani sporting memory.
