Kyle Ebecilio was a Dutch midfielder who emerged with great expectations, but whose career ended up being marked by irregularity, injuries and loss of space in the European scene. Discovered by the Feyenoord youth teams, he transferred at a very young age to Arsenal, where he stood out in the youth teams, being seen as a modern, physically strong midfielder, with good passing and arrival in the area. He went on to win the championship and was voted the best player in the European Under-17 Championship for the Netherlands, generating great expectations around his future.

After failing to make it into Arsenal's first team, he returned to the Netherlands in 2013 to play for FC Twente, where he enjoyed his best professional moment. In the 2013–14 season, Ebecilio was a regular starter and stood out with goals from outside the box, good passes and a constant presence in the attacking midfield. His physical strength combined with his finishing ability made him considered one of the promising players in Dutch football at that time and attracted the attention of English football.

In 2015, Ebecilio was loaned to Nottingham Forest, however, from then on, his career went into decline, suffering a serious hamstring injury that took him out of almost the entire season and his contract with the English club was not renewed.

And after that he had short and unimpressive spells at clubs such as ADO Den Haag, NAC Breda, Excelsior, AE Larissa (Greece), among others. He suffered from recurring injuries, loss of physical fitness due to a disease and difficulty adapting, which prevented him from rediscovering the consistency he had at the beginning at Twente. Over the years, he began playing in lower divisions and less visible leagues, such as Cyprus and Iceland, trying to regain his place, but without being able to regain his leading role.
