He played for Bratislava from 1924 to 1934. He made his debut for the Czechoslovak national team on October 28, 1929, in a 4–3 victory against Yugoslavia, becoming the first Slovak player to play for the national team. He also played his second and final match for Czechoslovakia in 1931 against Yugoslavia, which ended in a 2–1 victory for the Czechoslovak national team.
He ended his career after a serious leg injury in 1934.
