Nguyễn Quang Hải is a Vietnamese attacking midfielder who rose through the youth ranks of Hà Nội FC and became a key figure in the V.League 1, where he contributed to several domestic league and cup titles. His career reached wider recognition in 2018, when he helped Vietnam finish as runners-up at the AFC U23 Championship, scoring decisive goals and earning international attention for his technical quality. He went on to play a central role in Vietnam’s senior national team success, including the 2018 AFF Championship victory and the team’s impressive quarter-final finish at the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. In 2022, he joined Pau FC in France’s Ligue 2, becoming one of the few Vietnamese players to compete in a European professional league, although he found limited opportunities to secure regular playing time before returning to Vietnam.
