Attack-MindedINFO:Nicolás Blandi is an Argentinian footballer who plays as a striker. Born in Campana, Buenos Aires (13/01/1990), he made his debut in Boca Juniors in 2010 at the age of 20 after having had a great tournament in the reserves. To gain experience, in August of that same year, he was loaned until mid-2011 to the ranks of Argentinos Juniors, a team that had been the last Argentinian champion. There, he debuted in the First Division and scored his first official goal, on November 14 against San Lorenzo. For the second part of 2011, he returned to Boca Juniors. Although at first, he was not going to be taken into account by coach Julio César Falcioni, he entered in the last minutes of the games, as a natural replacement for Lucas Viatri. He debuted as a starter on October 25, 2011, against Colón and stood out by scoring the two goals with which Boca won the match. At the end of December 2013, his transfer to Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro was confirmed, in exchange for $1.800.000, for 3 years. At the beginning of 2015 (January to June) he was loaned to Évian without charge and without a purchase option to continue adding playing minutes when he was relegated in San Lorenzo due to the high level of Mauro Matos and the return of the injured Martín Cauteruccio, unfortunately, he suffered an injury that only allows him to play 6 games, scoring 1 goal, in his short stay at that club. Once his loan at Évian ended, he returned to San Lorenzo (June 2015), where he finished the tournament with 8 goals. In the second half of 2016, he was one of the main scorers of the Argentinian tournament and the 2016 Copa Sudamericana. In this second stage in San Lorenzo, he would score 59 goals in 148 games, until that moment his highest scoring streak. On January 10, 2020, he was presented as Colo-Colo's new signing, with a three-year contract, and on July 22, 2021, he arrived at Unión (SF), with an 18-month contract with a termination clause in December. He played only four games coming off the bench, so the club's board decided to make use of the clause to end his contract early. On February 11, 2022, he returned to San Lorenzo. His contract would be for productivity and ended in December of that year but was later renewed until the end of 2023. After constant injuries and spending several months without playing, on February 4, 2023, he scored his first goal on his return to the
ciclón as captain, against Lanús, in the last minute. He would score a double again against Sarmiento de Resistencia in Round of 32 of the Argentine Cup in March 2023, being his last two goals of the year. Against Central Córdoba on November 27, 2023, the last matchday of the Copa de la Liga, Blandi reached 200 games with San Lorenzo, receiving a tribute from the Copa Libertadores that he won in 2014.
