INFO:
Emmanuel Mas is a current left-back. Born in San Juan, Argentina (19/01/1989), he started his professional career in his boyhood club, San Martín de San Juan. He debuted in the First Division in 2008 at the age of 19, starting in a match against Newell's Old Boys, although the green and black team would end up being relegated that year. They would play again in the Primera Divisón in 2011, Mas becoming an undisputed starter in the San Juan team and one of the most consistent players in the Argentine tournament. On July 9, 2013, his transfer to Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro was made official after his outstanding work in the San Juan team. He made his official debut with San Lorenzo on August 4, 2013, starting from the beginning in a 2-1 victory against Olimpo. He would score two goals in the first leg semifinals of the 2014 Copa Libertadores against Bolívar on July 23 and finally, after starting all games, on August 13, 2014, he would win with San Lorenzo the first Copa Libertadores in their history and also becoming the first San Juan native to lift the trophy. In 2015 he would be called up to the National Team. On December 28, 2016, his transfer to Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super League was confirmed, where he would play 37 games throughout 2017. On January 4, 2018, he arrived at Boca Juniors. For the xeneizes, he would play for 3 seasons, with ups and downs in his performance that ended up relegating him to a position on the bench by the end of the 2020-21 season. After Boca, Mas would play for Orlando City in the MLS, Estudiantes de La Plata and Colón de Santa Fe, where he would get relegated for the second time in his career.
On August 24, 2015, his call-up to the National Team to tour the United States was confirmed due to the sprain in the internal lateral ligament of the left knee of Pablo Zabaleta, the regular right-back for the Argentine team. After such a call, September 4, 2015, would arrive, this being the day on which the full-back would make his debut in the Argentine team, as he would play as a starter for the 90 minutes against Bolivia, in Houston, celebrating an unforgettable 7-0 win on North American soil. The performance in his first game, according to journalists, was good. On September 21, 2015, he was called up again by Gerardo Martino to play the games against Ecuador and Paraguay for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Being irregular in the matches he played, Martino still defended him, arguing that he is in consideration for Russia 2018 and an eventual replacement of Marcos Rojo. After Martino was sacked from the National Team and coach Jorge Sampaoli took over, Mas wasn't called up again for Argentina.

Mas works as a left-back with greater emphasis on offense than on defense, having significant speed and resistance in the long run, which allows him to generate scoring chances for his team. His game is characterized by constantly going on the attack and retreating without problems, which marks his enormous stamina and resistance. In his past with San Martín de San Juan, he played as a left midfielder.
