I think the younger Neville deserves a mention in the reserves.

Unfortunately Tony Dune should be moved to the reserves simply because Denis Irwin and Roger Byrne are better than him. This would open a vacancy for Rio Ferdinand. I also think Vidic deserves a spot on the team. I would take Steve Bruce out, simply because I also think Buchan is better than him.

The team and best XI were discussed by several users. What I posted is the result of the discussion. Certain players were chosen over others for different reasons. For example, Carey was chosen over Vidić due to his versatility and because the team already has enough CB, or Carrick was chosen over Edwards due to the longevity and success of the first and the unfortunately short career of the latter. Anyway, take in mind that the update is yet to be accepted.
