3rd title in 7 years today! I really think that David Silva deserves a place in the first team, I’ve heard that even older City fans consider him to be one of the best players to ever play for them, along with Bell, Lee and Trautmann. He’s had a consistently world class level since joining City and shown no signs of being a mercenary at all (unlike a certain Mr Touré). Definitely as much of a legend of the club as Kompany or Agüero at this point!

Yet another league title for City today, Silva really HAS to be in first team at this point, he can easily replace Tueart. I have no doubt whatsoever that he’s City’s best player of all time now. I also think Fernandinho can be in first team, even at 34 he’s City’s most important player, they’re so much worse without him, and that’s been the case for years now. He’s a better player than guys like Oakes and Doyle and achieved a lot more with the club.
Regardless of anybody’s thoughts or feelings about this City team, this is simply their most successful era and that should be reflected as such in this team. 2 players in first team is not enough for a generation that has won 9 trophies in 9 years.

Couldn't agree more. There must be a place for Silva in the first team. But I wouldn't move Oakes and Doyle, they both played for a decade in the club, and were a part of the team that won their only European trophy. I'd rather remove one of defenders.

Reserves:
Added Fernandinho, de Bruyne and Sterling.
Formation:
Added Agüero and Kompany instead of Doherty and Doyle and added captains/set piece takers.

With a possible chanpions title, maybe gündogan deserves to be among the 23, I think he has been standing out a lot this season and in the previous ones

Do you remember Citizens before Arab money? I played to Championship Manager in the 1999-2002 with this lineup:
4-4-2
Seaman
Bosvelt A.I. Haaland Van Buyten Tarnat
Wright-Philips McManaman C. Reyna Kiki Musampa
N. Anelka R. Fowler
Vintage team, i love him.
