Attack-MindedINFO:Santiago Pierotti is an Argentine footballer who plays as a forward or midfielder. Born in Pilar, Santa Fe (03/04/2001), Pierotti made his professional debut on March 18th, 2019, in a 0-0 draw against C.A. Tigre while playing for C.A. Colón, being subbed on in the 81' minute for Marcelo Estigarribia. Months later he had his first start, in a 4-0 win against Sol de Mayo for the Copa Argentina, scoring one of the four goals of the game; since then, Pierotti has been a regular starter for Colón and being one of the standouts of the team. Pierotti has been called up by coach Javier Mascherano to the U-18 Argentina National Team to play in the L'Alcúdia International Football Tournament in 2018, and for the U-23 National Team to play the qualifiers for the Olympic Games in 2023. In 2021, Pierotti won the Copa de la Liga for Colón, the first title in the team's long history, scoring one goal in the semifinals against C.A. Independiente. On January 13th, 2024, it was announced that Serie A club Lecce had reached an agreement with Colón for the permanent transfer of Pierotti, subject to the results of medical tests and international clearance. The deal was made official three days later, as the player signed a contract until June 2027, with an option for another year.
