BalancedINFO:Federico Lértora is an Argentine footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Born in Mercedes, Buenos Aires (05/07/1990), played all his youth at Ferro Carril Oeste, where he made his professional debut on October 17, 2008, against Los Andes. His first season at the white-and-green team was very successful, becoming team captain at the age of 19. Lértora stayed for four seasons at the Caballito club, playing more than 100 games despite the team's financial issues and numerous offers from bigger teams. Lértora has stated on more than one occasion that "Ferro was his second home". In 2012 he was sold to Godoy Cruz, with good performances in his first season. In 2015 he was sold to Arsenal de Sarandí, and the following year, to C.A. Belgrano, where he revived his career: at Belgrano, he played for three seasons and was consistently dubbed as one of the country's best defensive midfielders. In 2019 he joined C.A. Colón, reaching a Copa Sudamericana final in his first season. He formed a memorable partnership with Rodrigo Aliendro in Colón's midfield, which is often called the two-man midfield in the team's history. In 2021 he won the Copa de la Liga, the first title in the team's 116-year history. Lértora became an idol in the Santa Fe club, due to his consistent performances throughout the title campaign and his good behavior towards the club: in 2022 he was sold to Club Tijuana, in Mexico, but he decided to stay at Colón for more time than his contract stated, so he could play the Copa Libertadores group stage for the team. In 2023, after 30 games for Club Tijuana, he was sold to Querétaro F.C., where he still plays today.
