This team only has 22 players, it’s missing one.

The reserves section is also poor. Most names suggested by agus2017 seem worthy, except Batistuta, Ortega and maybe a few others. Also, TheGreatRossonero ignored old legends like Lombardo, Aguirre, Badalini, Canteli, Francia, Viale, all-time top scorer Manuel González and more who may deserve a spot.

Probably all of Rossonero's Argentinian teams could do with an update to bring them to the standard of all the other All Star teams. Not that he did bad work but the reserves usually have an emphasis on whatever famous players started or ended their career there.

I have notes on this team. The first squad is good overall. I would maybe change a few names. I'll see if I can come up with an update.

I agree that there are some Rossonero's teams that emphasize those kinds of players but on some occasions, they fit for these teams. Or maybe not even famous players but players that played few games and still made an impact that's remembered throughout the years (like Cardozo in this case). While these types of players are not put in starters, I don't see the problem, as long as that situation is not distorted and players like Batistuta or Maradona begin to appear.

When you say "old legends" you have to separate players like Viale, Francia and González (pre-1930) from those like Canteli and Lombardo (post-1930). Although these players continue to be part of the club's history, it is important to mention that, -at least idiosyncratically-, the era prior to the professionalization of Argentine football is analyzed separately. There are very few players from the clubs' amateur era who truly deserve to appear on an All-Star team and in Newell's case in particular I would say they are few and far between. I would understand Libonatti, González, or Francia, but it would be a little more difficult for me to understand, for example, Saruppo or E. Celli. It really is not a criterion to have won many titles during amateurism.
I imagine that this is a discussion that you guys have already had with Rossonero (I've read some posts about it), but, at least in Argentina, it really is like this. Games from that era do not have the same value as the ones that came after 1930; only for a few clubs, like Racing or Huracán, but, in my opinion, not for Newell's.

All Stars means all-time, not just professional era. It's true that Newell's didn't even take part to national leagues but only to regional ones. But the team still had great players before the 1930s. And I didn't say that I would fill the first team with "amateur" players.
Don't forget that most leagues pre-World Cup were amateur or very close to that level. France and Netherlands were amateur. The Italian league initially had 4 teams and the number then went up to 40+, 50+ and even 80+, including any possible team that could be added. If I'm correct, Brazil didn't even have a league at all. Spain and Portugal also didn't have a league and initially played tournaments that later became Copa del Rey and Taça de Portugal respectively. I can go on and on.
We can't include exclusively players from post-amateur eras just because of the level. Otherwise we're deliberately ignoring part of the history of a team. Look at my RCD Mallorca All Stars team, for example. Initially, it mostly included more or less recent players. Then, I was suggested that the team lacked some very old but important players like Censet and Socías. Since then, I rightfully considered players from all eras for every all star team I posted.
