Óscar López is a former Colombian defender who was born in Medellín with enormous talent. He started his career in Deportivo Cali where he was four times Colombian League champion. He was always in the first eleven, know as eternal captain by Deportivo Cali fans.
With Colombian national team he played 1962 world cup in Chile and the qualification to 1970 world cup in mexico. He also played severals Copa America. A very technical player and great leader, he always played as sweeper and is regarded by one of the best Colombian defenders ever.
