De Vincenzo is a former central or side midfielder. Grown up at Inter, he had the best time of his career at Foggia, where he played 132 matches and scored 4 goals from 1992 to 1996. He played also for Catanzaro, Reggina, Livorno and Spezia among others. He retired in 2004.
De Vincenzo was a good and elegant player, gifted with determination and tactical intelligence. He possessed excellent technique, decent speed and quick dribbling. He mainly played for his teammates, delivering accurate passes and crosses. Not too accurate when targeting the goal, he still scored some nice goals and could shoot well first time. Capable with both feet, it seems that peculiarly he mostly used the right to shoot and the left to pass the ball.
