BalancedINFO:Dolcetti was a midfielder. Grown up at Juventus, he spent most of his career at Pisa and Cesena. He played 134 matches and scored once for the
Nerazzurri between 1987 and 1991 in Serie A and Serie B, 139 games and 15 goals for the
Bianconeri from 1993 to 1997 in Serie B. He played for several other clubs including Novara, Messina, Lucchese and Avellino. He retired in 2002.
Dolcetti was left footed, quick and gifted with good technique as well as dribbling to overcome his opponents. These characteristics made him dangerous inside the box even though he wasn't a scorer. An able passer of the ball, he could send fast crosses to the center, either from the back or corners or when he moved to the flank. At Pisa he sometimes played more backward, switching position with Dunga. He could take free kicks and during the time at Cesena he scored some goals from there as well as from penalties. Having had his best time in young age, he was a valuable player who showed high class touches but he rarely was into the heart of the game, especially when the action was tough and made mostly of tackles.
