Feindouno is a former winger in midfield or attack, usually on the right side, and attacking midfielder. His career started in 1998 at Girondins de Bordeaux where he played until 2004, making 132 appearances and scoring 21 goals. He was loaned to Lorient for the 2001-02 season. He then played for Saint-Étienne from 2004 to 2008, scoring 38 goals in 150 matches. His next clubs were Al-Sadd and Al-Rayyan in Qatar, Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Monaco in France, Sion and Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland, Elazığspor in Turkey, and Atlantas Klaipėda in Lithuania. He never reached the same level again after leaving Saint-Étienne. He retired in 2016. He represented the Guinea national team from 1998 to 2012, earning 85 caps and scoring an impressive 30 goals.
Feindouno was an offensive minded player who didn't dislike supporting the defence, occasionally even falling back to his own half to recover the ball with a tackle. He wasn't particularly strong but could rely on excellent dribbling and technical skills that made up for a not remarkable pace on the ball and not very agile movements. On the other hand, he had good pace off the ball. His ball distribution was overall decent though not always consistent, especially in his crosses. Despite the inconsistency in his crosses, he was often in charge of free kicks and corner kicks. Even though he was gifted with a notable shot from long range, usually packed with good power, dangerous also when attempted first time, Feindouno wasn't particularly prolific. He was also good in the air thanks to a remarkable jump and surprisingly decent heading ability. He had the tendency to move a lot to a central position even when he was fielded as side-midfielder, proving to be at ease in a position between strikers and midfielder. As he was often in charge of set pieces, he scored 9 of his 38 Saint-Étienne goals from penalty as well as 5 of his 30 Guinea goals from penalty and 3 from direct free kick.
