INFO:Kulabigwo is a former central or attacking midfielder. He spent his career at Simba FC in the early 1960s and throughout the 1970s. An Uganda international, he capped numerous times and took part to the Africa Cup of Nations in 1968, 1974 and 1976, being a regular starter in his second and third participations.
Regarded as one of Uganda's greatest ever midfielders, Kulabigwo was an industrious midfield workhorse that was seemingly tireless. His main task was to cover the entire pitch which he did with Moses Nsereko as both protected the back-line well thanks to their great understanding. Kulabigwo was also known for his ability to win possession due to well-timed tackles. Furthermore, he showed the creativity to materialise scoring chances out of nowhere. He was nicknamed "Kuli Beckenbauer" by Burkhard Pape, the German coach who guided Uganda in the early 1970s.
