INFO:Mohamed Hubail is a former right-side midfielder and right-back, capable of playing as defensive or central midfielder. He had several spells in Bahrain with Al-Ahli Manama, from 2001 to 2004, from 2006 to 2008, in 2009, and in 2010-11. He played also in Qatar for Al-Gharafa and Qatar SC, in Kuwait for Al-Arabi, in Saudi Arabia for Al-Qadsiah, in Oman for Muscat FC and Fania SC. He retired in 2014 after a one-year experience with Bahraini team Sitra. He capped for Bahrain 91 times, scoring 5 goals. He reached the fourth place at the 2004 AFC Asian Cup, where he was one of the key players of his team.
Considered one of the most prominent players in Bahrain's history, Hubail was a short midfielder who balanced his play very well, supporting both defence and offence thanks to a good endurance, although he was more effective in the attack. He had good technique, fine ball distribution, a remarkable and sometimes powerful shooting ability although he wasn't often the one to finish the play. He possessed good pace in the last sprint but he wasn't notably fast on the distance. During the match against Japan at the 2004 Asian Cup, for example, he suffered against the speed of Alex Santos. Hubail remained an instrumental part of Bahrain's midfield even though he suffered some injuries.
