Dusit is a former left back, left wing back and defensive midfielder. His career began in 1989 at Police United. He transferred in 1994 to BEC Tero Sasana, where he had his best time, playing 133 matches and scoring 14 goals in six seasons. He then played two years in India at Mohun Bagan, where he won the 1999-00 National Football League. He came back to BEC Tero Sasana in 2001 and retired in 2008 after spells in Vietnam at Hoang Anh Gia Lai and again at Police United. He gained 96 caps for Thailand, scoring 14 goals and winning four Southeast Asian Games, two King's Cups and three AFF Championships. He was included in the 1994 AFC All Star team and named MVP of the 2000 AFF Championship.
Regarded as the best ever left back in Thailand history, Dusit was gifted with a strong physique, although he wasn't notably fast. Mostly effective in the attack, he was renowned for his reliable and accurate crosses from the goal-line or corner kick. He was a specialist in taking free kicks and penalties that earned him numerous goals. While he used to deliver free kicks or long range shots with power and effect, his penalties were kicked more softly. A natural left-footed who was quite capable with the outside, he rarely used the right foot.
