INFO:
Doeuk Miladord was a defensive midfielder who could also play as central midfielder. According to Koh Santepheap, he played for Phnom Penh Municipality from 1968 and 1973 and was the anchor midfielder alongside deep-lying playmaker Oum Savang, although Miladord was occasionally deployed also in a slightly more advanced role. He represented the Cambodia national team in the first half of the 1970s, including at the 1972 Asian Cup. Although he was mainly a defensive player, he scored some goals with Cambodia: 1 from penalty vs Myanmar at the 1970 Asian Games, 1 vs Thailand in a 1971 tournament held in Jakarta, and 4 at the 1972 Merdeka Tournament against Japan, Philippines and Sri Lanka, one of which being a penalty.
Khmer Sports described him in 1971 as a box-to-box midfielder, which aligns with Koh Santepheap mentioning in 1972 his stamina as well as his excellent ball recovering and interception abilities; the Malaysian newspaper Berita Harian describing him in 1972 as a midfielder destroyer who constantly pressed opponents into mistakes; and a 1972 Thai report from Siam Sport that referred to him as a disruptive presence in midfield with the task to break up play.
Vietnamese newspaper Thể Thao praised his ball control under pressure, quickness, long range passing, and tendency to distribute the ball diagonally to the wingers in order to avoid physical contact with stronger midfielders. In fact, Thể Thao also mentioned his physical struggles and weakness in the air due to his slender and short physique, being apparently around 168 cm tall. This was highlighted in particular in the match won 4-0 against Kuwait at the Asian Cup where Miladord had to rely on his agility to make up for the difference in physique.
