INFO: In 2005, Tinga returned to Brazilian football to play for Internacional, a club that later claimed to have been his heart team. Acted in the conquest of the Campeonato Gaúcho and the runner-up of the Brasileirão, which had Corinthians as illustrious champion, but qualified the club gaucho for the Copa Libertadores of America of 2006.
In the Copa Libertadores of America 2006, the athlete played in most games, being decisive and scoring the goal of the Internacional title in the final minutes of the match against São Paulo. The player, however, was expelled from the match, this being his last appearance in Colorado.
He was a player of a lot of race, he had a great physical form, and it was enough to attack, it was not to make many goals, but he was always there when needed.
On May 10, 2010, his return to Internacional was confirmed, where he again won the Copa Libertadores de America in 2010 and the Campeonato Gaúcho in 2011, as well as the 2011 South American Cup Winners' Cup.
