Playing in the 50s and 60s, his playing style was characterized by his goal-scoring prowess, occupying offensive positions in midfield and attack. Here are the main characteristics of Traçaia's playing style: Forward/Attacking Midfielder: Although sometimes listed as an attacking midfielder, Traçaia was a natural goalscorer, playing close to the opponent's penalty area. Idol in Classics: He was known for being decisive, scoring 13 goals against rivals (Santa Cruz), being the top scorer for the red-and-black team in the Pernambuco derby. In my view, I evaluate players from lower leagues like this: he had high accuracy, considered a "great goalscorer," with high precision, but he didn't compete in top-tier championships, as I already mentioned about Carlitos from Inter. So I wouldn't give him an attacking rating like Marcelinho Carioca, for example, who played in the same position and competed in several high-level competitions and has an ATT rating of 82. Although Tracia played in an era when strikers were much more advanced than in current times, I don't see why I would give him a higher value. |
